When my husband watches Saturday college football, his favorites are still the hot wings with celery sticks and blue cheese dipping dressing.

I'm more of a potato chip person. Hey, have you tried the new Kettle Chip challenge?
I ordered the box of chips, which feature five new flavors. You taste each one and then vote online for your favorite. Go to their site and check it out. This is my third year of participating. It's VERY interesting what flavor combinations they come up with.

I haven't tried the Kettle Chips, my kids like Ruffles whenever we do get them and it seems I never branch out. Seems like I get potato chips more in the summer. My husband likes French onion dip, I am allergic to sour cream. I like it ... it doesn't like me.

If I am going for chips I usually like the tortilla chips with bean dip ... hmmm, maybe I could do bean dip tonight.

The Kettle Chip challenge is a once a year thing. You order the 'test' chips online. They encourage people to have a party and have everyone vote. They provide the cards, stickers and an information book about the five test tasting chips.

This year the flavors are hot and spicy. Last year was strange. They had a chocolate flavored potato chip! Wasn't my favorite. My family all liked the Spicy Thai, which they ended up marketing and you can find it in the stores.

From this years selection, we all agree on the Death Valley Chipotle. It's just a fun thing to do as these products are not on the market.

I remember one of the frozen french fry companies made chocolate fries. That sounded horrible.

You can't even taste them and think it is a dessert. It just reminded me of eating a potato chip with an M&M! It just didn't taste right.

That doesn't even sound right.

A while back when they did the chocolate fries and some that were different colors with the colored catsup even my kids weren't interested. I don't know who's idea that was but it must have flopped because I don't see them anymore. Kids are very picky about what they eat not looking different from what they are used to. And that was just too different.

They won!!!! Probably because of my snacks.

So hopefully they stay in the top ten and my hubby will be happy.
