With Christmas being a little over a month away, I was wondering what is on your kitchen wishlist for Christmas?
Mine are pretty small. A candy thermometer and a mini-food processor.
I have the large one, but sometimes I only need to do a small amount of something. Pulling out the large one, and cleaning it, is sometimes too time- consuming.
I would like to have a cast iron griddle the same size as the cast iron grates for the grill that is in my range. I think it would fit right on the supports and give me the best of both.
I know there is no way I'll get them, but I really want a set of Wusthof knives. I just can't justify spending that much money on knives, even though the ones I have completely suck. There is so much other stuff I want and many more things that I need, so this will just have to wait.
I did ask my husband for a microhood combination. I was so very annoyed when we bought this house that we didn't have one. Even the apartment we rented before we got married had one. I hate taking up counter space with a microwave. So, I do want that.
I'll tell you how I got my kitchenaid. Keep burning up the little hand held kind and eventually you will get one because it seems like a better investment in the long run. I was going thru about 1 hand mixer a year and my husband finally decided to get me one.
