Rep Power: 10 | What a Day this was! As Murphy's Law would have it, things seem to come in three's and why is it at the holiday?
Yesterday we had the fireplace screen fall apart, literally! Had just had it installed less than a year ago and now they have to come back to fix it. And, surprise, they can't come out until the first week of December.
Then, we had a wind storm and shakes blew off our house! Have to schedule a roofing company to replace and check the roof.
Yesterday, we turned on the water in the farthest upstairs bathroom and black gunk came out of the faucet! The one water heater went out (we have two so we weren't without, just had gunky stuff which was disgusting!)
This is good news, the plumbing company/store had time to replace the water heater today....lots of $$$'s but what are you going to do?
It's always something...good thing it didn't happen on Thanksgiving.

Rep Power: 10 | Must be a full moon. My breaks went out on my car, well not "out" but I guess they had worn down to nothing. Horrible scraping sound. With all our hills brakes get a work out here. That was a chunk of change right before Christmas.
Here's to a better day tomorrow for all of us! :91: |

Rep Power: 10 | Thanks, Lucy!
We have to have those days that 'aren't so' good so we can REALLY appreciate all the others. I just keep on smiling and accept them...although, my checkbook isn't too happy!
