Rep Power: 10 | I do different things at Christmas. I haven't picked what I am going with this year yet. I am thinking ham or maybe even pulled pork.
I like things I can serve with casseroles on Christmas because I am gone visiting on Christmas Eve. Then I have to wait for Santa to finish his work, so I like to get up and put some things in the oven and do the minimum on the stove top so I can spend time with the kids. |

Rep Power: 10 | We're going out to dinner at a restaurant Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner is at my Aunt's house. When I was little we used to have fish or pasta on Christmas Eve for dinner. I think Christmas Eve was a day of fasting and thats why it was meatless.

My favorite thing to make for dinner is reservations. |

Rep Power: 2 | My family doesn't change things up too much from Thanksgiving dinner. We have Thanksgiving dinner verson 2.0 without the turkey. We usually have ham and/or roast. Whatever floats the host's boat, really. I just show up and eat, so I don't get too big of a say.
New Year's dinner is where we really change things up and have a set tradition of what you HAVE to eat. |

Rep Power: 10 | Christmas Eve tradition is homemade Minestrone soup with crusty Italian bread.
I had forgotten to mention that one. Don't know how I could have forgotten as it is something I look forward to making. But then, I don't think there is anything I don't look forward to making.
Today I made chocolate chip cookies to bring to my hairstylist. This time of year, I just can't stop myself. Good thing I don't like eating as much as I enjoy making everything.
Sometimes I make brownies just to have the house smell good. Won't eat them. Cut them up and stick them in the freezer. After a month, I end up tossing them. I know that is bad but I'm into the aroma being more satisfying.

Rep Power: 2 | One year was crock pot ribs. One year was chili. One year was Italian chicken, in the crock pot. Yes, my Xmas dinner requires crock pot cooking because my father comes down from PA and I don't know if he'll arrive at 5:00 or 8:00 or whenever in between. So I slow cook something and drink and wait for his arrival. |
