Rep Power: 10 | The downside of having a cooking website. There aren't many people visiting on big cooking Holidays. Everyone is busy in the kitchen. |

Rep Power: 10 | I'm doing both! I'm going back to the kitchen in a little bit, but have to check in a couple of times a day and see what is going on.
Just sent a recipe I made up to a friend. She wanted my Bean Soup recipe and I just make up things as I cook. Had to give this some thought. I made this last week and it was delicious!
Anyway, I was on the computer so just dropping by to say 'Hi!'

Rep Power: 10 | I had a party. I had wanted to bake cookies, but I ran out of time.
And eggs are expensive!

Rep Power: 10 | Suzie, those cheeseball characters are adorable! I'd hate to cut into them and ruin them.
Isilzha, I find that butter prices really shoot up this time of year as well. I bought about 12 pounds in October and froze it. At least it is one thing that freezes really well.
Going to make genache tomorrow for little cream puffs. It's my brother's recipe.
He is quite the baker and makes all kinds of cakes. He gets orders from family and friends for his cheesecakes and carrot cakes. He kind of reminds me of the Ace of Cakes...he's a welder by day, cake maker at night.

Rep Power: 1 | Social life seems to go on hold for a while for me during holiday weeks. I used to bake as gifts but people like them so much that they now pay me to make them, so they can give them as gifts! Last week I made 4 cheesecakes (water bath and all) 24 pumpkin breads and 12 lbs cinnamon sugar cream cheese to go with the pumpkin breads. Add to that another cheesecake, date bars, oatmeal rolls and a full christmas dinner for my family and you would think that I would be sick of food, but I found this site and I am hooked!
