I have not. But I did work in a grocery store deli when I was a teen.

I never have but both of my sisters, both of my daughters and all of their cousins have in their younger days.



I only had one experience with serving and that was helping out at a church dinner one Sunday afternoon when I was in my 20's. It was a sit-down dinner and I was helping out in the kitchen. I brought a few bowls of food out to place on the tables and, as I was walking back to the kitchen, someone asked me for a fork and someone else asked me for a cup and saucer. I studied their faces to remember who they were but when I got them and went back out, it was like everyone looked the same, LOL. All I could do was say, "Who asked for the fork and cup??" I've actually had nightmares over the years about being a waitress and screwing up really bad.

I was a product demonstrator in grocery stores way back when. But, I never worked in a restaurant.

I was a bus boy in an elks club. Worst Job Ever!

started washing dishes, then moved to bus boy, then to assiant cook, then to cook, then outside to gas attendent, they didn't like my chicken. go figure anyways that was many moons back. another time and another place, when things were not so difficult it seems.
