Rep Power: 10 | What do you like to BBQ? For me, it's vegetables!
Clarification....outdoor grilling, open fire.

Rep Power: 1 | BBQ? Yummy. Any meat/fish really. How do you BBQ your veggies? I have BBQ'd veggies in foil with a dressing, but not any other way.

Rep Power: 1 | I haven't barbecued outside since my grill died but I use a cast iron grill pan indoors and it tastes like the food was cooked outside. I don't eat much meat but I do like to grill chicken occasionally but mostly veggies.

Rep Power: 10 | Ahh I see our terminology has met a cultural divide. BBQ for me is cooking a meat in a sauce. "Grilling" would be steak for me. |

Rep Power: 3 | I thought the same thing as I read.
I like grilling anything, but I'm not big on BBQ sauce. Less it's ribs...

Rep Power: 1 | I think barbecuing back in the day was considered cooking over a fire and slapping some type of barbecue sauce on it. In today's terminology (at least for me), I think barbecuing and grilling mean cooked over a fire depending who you are and what part of the country you're from. At least I've heard it used interchangeably when watching cooking shows and reading different recipes. For me personally, grilling means cooking on my outside grill, whether I put barbecue sauce on anything or not, as well as cooking on my indoor stove-top grill. When we have a get-together and cook outside, we still call it an old-fashioned term; cookout.

Rep Power: 10 | Yes, it means different things depending on where you live.
I meant, outdoor grilling. We call the Weber Kettle a barbecue out here. However, I think Weber refers to it as a grill. In any case, I meant outside, open fire.
I grill the veggies in a basket or on skewers lightly coated with an olive oil and seasoning like thyme and rosemary. Delicious!

Rep Power: 1 | I thought of BBQ as anything you put on an outdoor grill. A Webber or gas grill.
We call a BBQ a cookout. My hubby's family (he is from England) calls it BBQing if you cook outside.
