My car only takes premium and it is up to $3.89/gallon. Twenty dollars doesn't fill it any longer.

Gas, diesel prices soar to record high - Oil & energy - MSNBC.com

Gas now 3.87 for the low grade.
4.13 for premium.
Any surprise Memorial Day is around the corner?

I still haven't filled up again since the last time this thread was up. My husband has for his car though I am sure. We use it the most.

Still $3.89 here for regular, $3.99 for mid and $4.09 for premium.

Just a few years ago I could gauge when to buy gas cause it seemed the prices went up on Friday morning and then back down on Monday morning. Back up on Tuesday then back down on Thursday so I'd fill up either on a Monday or a Thursday. Today they're not predictable at all. They just go up on any one day and keep goin' up.

Paid $3.79 today, the first time that my Nissan Sentra took more than $40!

I know that isn't much for some, but darn, I was surprised to see it blow past $40 to $42.

I bought gas this morning for 3.61. By the time I passed the same station tonight on the way home (about 12 hours later), it was all the way up to 3.73.

I have an Envoy, and it took $65 to fill it up the other day.
Am betting it will cost more after this weekend.
