Hey when you have kids, any place you can go alone is good. When my son was really small he used to lay in the floor so he could look under the door while I was in the bathroom.

I find it interesting to see what people have in their carts. You get a good sense of what their personality is like.

Some people just toss everything in the cart piling stuff, upon stuff. Others neatly place everything in it, like I do. All dairy in one part, all meat products stacked on top of each other, produce gets the back of the cart...I'm quite anal about it, but that's me.

Things have to be in some sort of order, even when putting them on the counter and in the bags. I'm like a director telling them what to pack with what. They probably see me as annoying, but I don't care.

I agree. Have you ever taken the wrong carriage by mistake?
I have! Must have been very distracted!

No, but someone took mine once. This man wasn't paying attention. I asked him, "Did you like my cart better?" He was slightly embarassed. He was just looking at the shelf and started putting things in my cart and pushed it along. I watched for a bit as I wanted to see if he noticed. Another grocery store game.
