Don't drink coffee or caffeine any more. But when I did, I liked Dunkin' Donuts coffee light and sweet. At home I would brew Folger's Columbian, it has an awesome coffee flavor without that burned strong flavor that places like Starbucks have made so popular.

So many people say that Starbucks has a burnt flavor, but it truly depends on which coffee you get. The Breakfast Blend is light and one of my favorites.

I have found you need to ask them for a milder blend, otherwise they will serve the stronger one, which has a slight burnt taste to it. They always have more than one already brewed, try it next time. You may be surprised.

I will have to give that a shot when I am "cheating" and having a little caffeine!

Ummm...about eight to twelve cups a day here. Strong! We use a blend of half Folgers's and half self ground french vanilla.

I'm surprised how many of you drink Folgers. I haven't had canned coffee in years, but it must be pretty good from what I've read of your posts.

The Trader Joe's Italian is whole bean and I grind it right before I brew a pot.

Not a regular coffee drinker but occasionally I do drink it. I like it sweet and creamy but I can't say I have a brand. I have used my French press to make flavored coffees. Last fall a coworker shared pumpkin spice flavored coffee with me and I did enjoy that. I also like English toffee flavored and some of those cold coffee drinks.

But I prefer tea. A nice hot English breakfast tea...mmm.

Where I work, my boss is a huge coffee drinker and she gets this nasty pre-ground stuff from Sam's Club. I tried it and it was aweful. Someone else in the office says she makes weak coffee. So, I go around telling everyone in the office about how to "properly" brew coffee (aka Alton's way). Honestly they thought I was making it up because he doesn't use a coffee maker. The funny thing is, my mom use to make coffee almost like Alton's method when I was growing up. I told them I was going to bring in my Good Eats DVD and have a properly brewing coffee siminar.

In the right-hand corner of a response, click on 'quote' box and then type reply.

FYI, your options are 'edit', 'quote', quote+, and reply...just pick 'quote'.

You're doing great with responses! Love your comments.

nope dripped, I have cut back from what I use to drink, doctors orders, I use to have two 12 cup pots gone by 10:00 AM, never seemed to make me high strung. I love my coffee in the morning , kinda like when I smoked would have to have that cig and cup in the morning. Well give up the cigarette 3 years ago, ain't giving up my coffee. Somethings in life are just nothing but pure pleasure and that is mine.
