Wait a minute, their testing didn't initiate the recall, that's why it was so late and large.

Guess it a good thing I cook my meat to proper temps, because we buy bulk then break into smaller packages, and of course throw away original packaging. This recall seems mainly Ohio and Michigan. Guess that is one good reason to have shows that teach proper cooking and food handling.

I write down on the repackaging where I purchased the meat, brand name (if there is one) and the date. Makes it real easy if there is a recall.
