The funniest story I have about Sophie is when she was a puppy. Husband fell asleep on the couch with his head resting back and his mouth open.

Sophie stared at him for a while, then jumped off the couch. What I didn't know was she getting her piece of rawhide. She jumped back on the couch and ever so gently, put the rawhide in his mouth! Guess she thought, "Daddy needs a cookie!"

It was so sweet and hilarious at the same time. Needless to say, he woke up with a jolt! Sure wish I had a video of this.

Shadow sleeps on his back sometimes too. This is the first cat I have ever had that's done that. Sometimes I think they watch us and think they can do it too.

I had an all white cat when I was a kid. He was deaf, but you know he still met us at the door when we came home. I think he could tell from the vibration of the engine, and he could tell the difference between our car and any other.

Augie (our little dog) does that every night. He'll go under the covers, turn around and then come up beside the DH and put his head on the DH's pillow. If the DH is on his side, Augie will be on his side... DH on his back, Augie on his back. They look so cute.

Now... does anyone have a cat that likes to swim? Our Dallas does. When we go up to the BIL's at Lake Norman, NC she'll go out with Augie and the DH. She and Augie are only 1 week apart in age and they grew up together, so she does a few dog things and Augie will do a few cat things.
