Rep Power: 3 | When I was a kid, we use to go to a Shoney's drive-in when we went to town to do some shopping. The "Big Boy" was the name of their "specialty" burger that had a secret sauce. Way before the days of the Big Mac and it's secret sauce.

Rep Power: 1 | Can I take your order? My parents met at a W.Va. Shoney's, where my mom was a waitress. Thank God they didn't name their firstborn "Big Boy." Especially since she's a girl.
It might've even been the Charleston one, though Huntington's more likely. My mom grew up sort of midway between Huntington and Charleston so I imagine it was in one of those cities. |
