Rep Power: 10 | He should consult with a doctor. They have guidelines for eating right.

If not then BB is quite correct, he needs to be evaluated. IBS can vary greatly from individual to individual. The web site that FNF provided is a good general guide, but you'll have to see what works for him. There are also medications that his doctor can prescribe to hel lessen the severity of his symptoms.
Hope this helps.

Rep Power: 10 | I assumed she already knew he was diagnosed but hasn't cooked for him before and wants to make a special dinner, and wants to be sure she doesn't make something he isn't supposed to eat.
If he hasn't seen a doctor he really should. They will give him a diet to follow I am sure. |

Rep Power: 10 | When I had it, years and years ago, the doctor gave me a list of what I could eat. Pretty boring.
It was the BRAT diet....bananas, rice, applesauce and toast for a whole month!

Rep Power: 10 | That' sounds awful.
My husband was thought to have diverticulitis but they did the screening last week and he didn't. He does have acid reflux though. |

Rep Power: 10 | That's too bad. No garlic or spicy foods for him anymore.
