What did your grandmother carry in her purse?

Did your grandmother carry something to give her grand kids when they had to sit quietly?

Mine always had teaberry gum and reeds cinnamon candy.

She use to call her purse her 'pocket book'.

Not a stitch of candy, just quarters.
