Well, the tropics are starting to wake back up. We have an area of storm activity that is starting to show signs of orginization. While it is experiencing a moderate amount of shear, it is in waters that are favorable for orginization and strengthening. Now the good news. A trough is expected to move over the east coast and western Atlantic, and will likely keep 97L well away from the US. Stay tuned for more as it developes.
