What's for dinner?
I have had a busy day today. Finally making that lasagna in my new pan. I haven't had much time to post so I thought I would get this topic started and see what's up with the rest of you.

I was thinking about making crab cakes tonight. Not sure what I'll make for side dishes yet.

I've been wondering if you'd tried out your new lasagna pan yet.
Eating left-overs tonight : fried chicken, slaw, mashed potatoes, biscuits and peach cobbler.
Think I'll make a pot of chili tomorrow or Sunday. Most of all, cook from the heart, and you’ll never be lonely when the dinner bell rings! - Chef Robert Irvin

Last night I made sirloin tips with mushrooms in a red wine sauce..served it over rice with sweet peas..delicious!!
No plans yet for tonight's dinner. I never really know until an hour before. Unless it is chili or a crockpot meal.BerryBaby

The pan worked great. My Dad stayed and ate with us and mom came up too when he was done working on the ceiling. One section is in now. It looks good.

I wasn't in the mood to cook, so we went to Sweet Tomatoes, it was wonderful and so darned busy, I wasn't expecting it to be that busy.
Tomorrow I am making some traditional Boston style baked beans, my mom always made them while I was growing up and this will be my first shot at it. I am getting ready to go soak the beans.
I will be making gingerbread cake for dessert in the new Pampered chef pan that my mom sent me, it has six mini bundt style pans built in.MAC

I had one of those pans and never used it. Gave it to Goodwill because it was just too heavy for me. I have arthritis in both thumb joints so I have to watch how much weight I pickup.
Bet it works great, though. Sorry I had to give it up.
Tonight I'm catering my sister's holiday party at her house. It's all 70's style hors d'oeuvres...what fun!
Going to make Turtle Bars in a few minutes. Have everything prepped and ready to go. The house will smell amazing, but it's only 6:15am. A bit early for all the sweetness permeating the air. I'll wait until 7:00!BerryBaby

We split a share at an organic community farm with friends. Today's our turn to pick up the veggies. You never know for sure what's on the menu but the newsletter mentioned candy-striped beets this week.
So fresh veggies of some sort on the menu tonight.
