10 Memorial Day Holiday weekend.
It's always slow on this site when there are holidays where cooking is a popular part of the event. What's everyone making?

Haven't given it much thought. Maybe grill something tonight or tomorrow. Weather is ideal...75 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

10 We will be going up to the camp with my parents, they already have my kids ... so it's date night for me and my husband. They are going to have burgers and hot dogs when we go up.

Stopped at the store to get the fresh Kaiser rolls for the burgers and they had ground beef (85%)
for $1.88 a pound! Also got the traditional small watermelon, corn-on-the-cob, potato salad...a real holiday cookout meal.

Bought a couple ears yesterday. It sure has been great, even for it being a little early in the season.
