    Squirrels chewed thru my cable?

I haven't been able to update much today because the cable has been out while they work on the problem. Now the internet is back but I still don't have HD. They have upgraded my service ticket and now I have to wait till they send out another repair guy. So no food network HD till they fix it.

I've heard of that problem. The squirrels like to chew on the metal in the cable to help wear down their teeth. Squirrels (like rabbits) have teeth that keep on growing and they have to keep "filing" them down.

Squirrel. Thief. Patriot. A brazen squirrel has been grabbing small American flags placed in a Port Huron, Mich., cemetery and carrying them up to its nest, which now looks as if it's bedecked in bunting.
Every Memorial Day, volunteers place the flags next to the graves of nearly 1,000 veterans buried at Mount Hope Cemetery about 55 miles northeast of Detroit. The flags were undisturbed during a Mass held Monday.

Well after waiting for the whole day ... the cable woman told me that either last night or today the cable company would fix the problem ... no one showed up. I called them and she never submitted the work order. And to top it off she did more damage than good because my son's TV did work before she got here but now it doesn't.

So I am out of the loop. even my regular food network channel is going in and out fuzzy ... sometimes the sound is gone and the HD doesn't work at all. Don't they know I run this site? I have to have access to the food network. As much as I pay every month to have all these channels ... now I can't get even the basic clearly.

We had that happen with a squirrel getting into a main power facility and knocking out power to thousands of people. Squirrel wasn't so lucky....he lost power for life. We had ours back in a couple of hours.
