Is anyone watching Design Star? I went on their message board yesterday. Found it interesting that people were commenting on how neither finalist is a 'real' interior designer. Well, that's just like the Next Food Network Star. Many of them weren't professional chefs...look at Amy who won. She is just the person next door who knows how to cook very well.

I'm voting for Kim. She is hairdresser by trade, but her design style is amazing. Plus, she has a cute personality and it shines on camera.

I voted for Kim too. I don't think the judges gave her enough credit for the design she did in WV. The area she was in, I don't know how she even got the things she needed in 2 days. Usually if I buy furniture HERE in the largest city where I live it can take 2 or even up to 6 weeks for them to order and deliver what I want. I had to buy my kitchen range online because the closest place I could get the one I wanted was Columbus, and I found a better shipping charge by getting it online. Even then it took 3 weeks. Carpet installation is usually a week or 2 because you have to get on a waiting list and there aren't that many places to choose from. Knowing what hurdles she had and seeing how well she did on double wide trailer that looked like it was about to fall in, I think she deserves to win.

I think that Todd acts like a big kid, and his style is a little too trendy for me. Kim is more classic, which is what I like.
