I'm headed to Austin

On friday I'm catching a flight to Austin TX and going to the Next Food Network Star open casting call. You have to be 21 to be on the show, and since I'm not old enough I'm going to just try and talk to the producers possibly! i might be going for nothing, but hopefully I'll get them my information and talk to them a bit! wish me luck!

How did Austin go ? I seen a show on Friday night thought of you, it was about the Johnson and Wales Top Teen Chef Competition, winner gets a Four year scholarship, thought that would be something for you ! All you do is summit a recipe and they chose the competitors from that. I googled it, all kinds of info came up.

Austin was good, but because of my plane being delayed, I missed the open call!! but I did happen to get the contact information for the casting director, so no hope is loss...I'm sure something awesome will happen!! I'm just continuing to work hard, and email like crazy. I am also handwriting letters to all the news shows and some talk shows. I always think a handwritten letter is better than an email.
