And, I like mine plain with very few, if any toppings....no mustard, relish...we all have our favorite things.

Me too! Got to have plenty of room for the cole slaw, chili and onions! If you don't... it all ends up in your lap.

I am a ketchup only guy when it comes to hotdogs, so the wiener has to be good!

My all time favorite was Jordan's red franks from Maine, I think Tyson bought the company and shut it down, which seems weird to me since it was the #1 hot dog in Maine, I mean you could get them practically anywhere. They still have a local company that makes a similar product called Bean's franks and they are red too. They have that snap to them and I really like them, they were the best cooked over a campfire!

Be still my heart...ketchup on a hot dog! Don't ever go to Chicago and ask for it that way. They just won't do it. It's mustard, mustard and more mustard. (Personally, I like mine plain.)

Did you ever see that special on the Travel Channel on hot dogs? Boy, it sure makes you crave one and they do talk about what is and is not acceptable toppings. Who would have thought there was 'Hot Dog Etiquette'?

Honestly, I have never known anyone to have catsup on a hot dog...at least it isn't like catsup on eggs. That one, I really don't understand.

I think that I saw that special, apparently ketchup on a hot dog is a big no no in most places unless you are a child!

Hot Dogs and fries are about the only thing that I eat ketchup on, I also put it in my meatloaf.

If I got attitude from a server because I wanted ketchup on a hot dog, I would tell them right where to put their hot dog and walk away!

Oh and the Chicago Vienna Beef dogs that I got recently (I think that they were a special purchase, because I never see them anywhere) I ATE WITH KETCHUP!!!! Take that hot dog fanatics!

In Maine ketchup is a very common topping for hot dogs.

Here in the south, many like chili, slaw and onions.

I don't eat ketchup on my dogs, but I do on my eggs.

For the kids it's probably not so much the hot dog as it is a delivery system for Ketchup. My son won't eat eggs. Maybe the Ketchup would convince him?
