I didn't think anyone other than my parents still eat bologna. Must be another sign of the times. I actually saw buzz buttered steaks at the store the other day. I haven't seen that since I was a kid.

I like fried bologna sandwiches. Some Duke's mayo, mustard and top with cheese and either some slaw or grilled onion... or both. I'll have to give this a try the next time I'm heading into town. There's a Hardee's just over on the mainland in Ravenel on Hwy. 17.

The last time I had bologna, I fixed it on a campfire at my parents campsite. (Sandwich with mustard)

I know I use to eat fried Bologna, with two eggs, little mayo and mustard. But now, the wife can not stand the smell of the frying Bologna makes her gag, Almost as bad as when she looks at can of spam, her ex fried spam one morning when she was pregnant, that ended that. No spam, no fried bologna

prepared with passion and served with love !

There were a lot of things that made me gag when I was pregnant. But I have got past it now.

We have started selling much more bologna, and chopped ham in recent months. I know that it is because they are the cheapest things in our deli.

Interestingly the company has lowered prices on lots of stuff, provolone cheese is $3.99 used to be $5.99, lots of our hams went down as well.

I don't really like bologna, but if I had to eat one, it would be Wunderbar German Bologna.

That's good stuff. Lots of time The Pig has it as a BOGO. I tend to stock up then.

My mom would grind that stuff up and make "ham" salad for sandwiches, it tasted very much like ham when she was done with it, she was great at stretching a dollar!

I spent 20 years in clinical medicine, but I have to admit, sounds pretty good.
