Fast Food-Addicted Cities Get the Finger Wag
Fast Food-Addicted Cities Get the Finger Wag
We told you a few days ago about the 100 fast food-addicted cities, as ranked by Men's Health.

Arlington, Tex. came in at number one with a solid "F" in the nutrition department while Buffalo, N.Y., ranked at 100 -- the least fast food-addicted city of the 100 surveyed.
There were plenty of other cities involved in the survey (check out the full list here) but we wanted to take a closer look at the top five.

Buffalo number one ?? with all the wing and beer joints there something seems to be like there may be a fox in the hen house ? I find the report, really hard to believe.

Maybe they are only counting chains. So Buffalo is last because they eat at the smaller diners drive in's and dives.

If they are counting only the chains, Houston did good, because they missed the taco vendors on every other corner in the city.

We have lots of universities in the area and lots of fast food places around them, so I am willing to bet that is why Raleigh made the list.
But we have tons of other choices here besides traditional fast food. It seems that the more upscale fast food type places are doing far better than regular ones, places like Panera, and Chipotle are always very busy, regular fast food places seemed to have dropped off a lot lately.MAC

I like Panera better in the fall and winter, because I like the soup. The sandwiches are good. But I really like the soup. I think it's mostly because if I don't feel well and want soup I can send my hubby, and that's usually during cooler weather. Whenever the kids are in school it seems like someone gets at least a runny nose several times when summer is gone. My son had a sore throat today when he came home. As soon as they get back to school they start swapping germs I guess.

I really like Panera's soup. When I was single, I would drag my sick butt to Panera for chicken soup. Now I have someone who will go and get it for me when I am sick.

Ahh Panera, the way our loved ones can express their love thru soup without contacting our nasty germs when we are sick.

I love soup...and love making it. Can't even remember the last time I was sick so if I waited until then for soup, I'd never have any.

(I probably just jinxed myself!)
Love going into Panera and just taking in the aromas...love the three-seeded baguette bread.BerryBaby

I have seen one of the Panera, never stopped, I thought it was just a bread place. Did not know it was soups and a eating place.
