Study Says Pasta Chain Restaurants Not So Healthy

Study Says Pasta Chain Restaurants Not So Healthy

If you're watching your weight, stay away from pasta palaces such as the Olive Garden and Romano's Macaroni Grill.
MORE HERE

I don't look to chain restaurants for healthy choices. To me that's an occasional treat.

Honestly, I don't think people go to either restaurant because they are looking for 'healthy, low calorie' food. Anyone with any knowledge of calories would know Alfredo is loaded with them!

Think I may go to Olive Garden once a year, if that. Macaroni Grill I have been to once. The food was not heated through, sent it back, again, not heated, sent it back, end of story.

I tend to go to more independently owned establishments that are more upscale. That is more of a treat for me, especially in the Northwest. The cuisine is second to none!

Yeah, I am missing too much. Maybe someday I will make it back out that way again. I have been to San Francisco and Palm Springs. While in Palm Springs we drove out to LA. I have been to New Mexico also. But that's the extent of my travels to that side of the map so far.
