My last vacation was just over a week ago. I was in Orlando FL. I have my 2 and 3 old with me by myself because my wife could not get in till Saturday. Will the kids Were getting on my nerves so bad I was like I need MEAT! and a DRINK! I had seen a ad for a place call the The butcher shop. The ad made it sound good but i got there and fond out from the menu out side that they char grill their steaks. That is just something that I'm not a fan of. it taste burnt. So I look across the parking lot and there was a place called Charley's Steakhouse. so i pull up their phone # and give a call and ask if they char grill their steaks. Answer "no sir we do not." Dress code? Answer "no sir but we do prefer dress casual" So i go over to have dinner. Now I'm wearing jeans, a heavy metal concert T. boots and a cowboy hat. I have a 2 year and 3 year old in tow. the people there did not blink a eye at that. that was cool. I get and the server was wonder full. but i also realize that i was in a place that in my book was a 5 star restaurant. On the menu the the steak were between 32 and 40 dollars. When I saw the look of he place i was expecting Ruth Chris level pricing. then they bought the steaks out for me to choice my steak. They were some pretty cuts of meat. I got the Ribeye. While we were talking about the cuts of meat I fond out that the place Was just voted the best steak house in the county. OMG! After having the steak there I can understand way. It was the best Steak I have EVER had and i have had a lot of high priced steaks. In the end i had 2 drinks my steak and got the kids meals. and dropped about 110 including tip. WOW great steak and very good service. The bus boy did not even look at me funny after clearing my kids plates off the table he ask me to take mine and i told him that i would bit his arm off if he tried.
