Unhappy Chili's Closing!

Heard on the news yesterday that all our Chili's restaurants are closing. There was also mention of Macaroni's...sign of the times???

Oh no! My kids love going there. I hope they stick around in my State. We have so little as it is.

Our Pizzeria Uno closed a year or 2 ago. I was kinda surprised to see it go.

Well, considering that we can all cook better at home than they do, it's not a culinary loss but big chains are always quick to act when they see a change in the market.
They (Chili's & Macaroni Grill) are not closing all of their stores, just "trimming the fat"...so to speak.

Restaurants are really feeling the gas pinch out here. We went out twice last week and both restaurants, that would normally be filled, were empty. We had incredible service, but they were all looking for things to do.

Honestly, I don't remember the last time I went to Chili's and only been to Macaroni Grill once...did not care for it.

They are closing down Chilis? I need to look this up. I like their honey chipotle chicken crispers. If so, I need to get my fill.

I am NOT A FAN of the Macaroni Grill.

I don't think they are going to get rid of them nationwide. Let me look for a news story.
