Most of that food (?) didn't look very good.

They made that food worse than it normally is. I made loads of Roadhouse Steak Sammies while I worked at Quiznos and I can't remember one ever looking like that.
Those who forget the pasta are condemned to reheat it.

I don't think I've ever seen one like that either.

I tried the Burger King Quad Cheesebuger once and no more since!!! it has a ridiculous amount of salt in it with all that American cheese and bacon! In fact, halfway through it, I began to get sick of it and threw the rest of it away.
Umm, as a matter of fact, I try my best to avoid American cheese because it is made with way too much salt! So instead, I ask for Swiss cheese which far less salt than American cheese does! If it isn't Swiss, then it's a miss!
I've also tried the Flatbread Sammie at Dunkin Donuts, which I think is good. All three!
And BTW, has anyone heard on the news that the consumption of fast food is on the rise because of the sinking economy and the high prices of food in the supermarkets?
Couples with kids are finding it increasingly difficult to feed them, so they are turning to fast food as a cheaper alternative. Might not be as healthy though.

There is no way going for fast food is cheaper than going to the grocery store. Unless they are buying the same bad foods they get at the drive thru already cooked and frozen at the store and eating that exclusively.
Maybe people have become too lazy, if that's the case then it's their own fault. There are plenty of ways to budget for meals. If they would invest in a crockpot or slow cooker for the price of a couple of those drive thru runs they could make soups with frozen veggies if they like the convenience of frozen, and they could eat for pennies a day ... and have it ready when they get home.

It also paves the way for the kids to become obese, and the diseases that I now have, they'll get an awful lot sooner. Not good at all!!
Children are the fast food eateries' biggest customers, and so, they should be doing things to make their food more healthier for our children to eat so that they can live much longer, happier healthy lives.
Eliminating transfats from the oil for French fries is just a mere start. Other things should be looked into as well. All that salt on the fries is also no good! Sets the stage for high blood pressure to set up housekeeping in their small bodies.
Most of the food there is fried, meaning that it's ladened with animal fat. No good!
I could see maybe going there once in a while to let the kids enjoy eating out before or after going to the movies or partisipating in some outdoor activities like summer or winter sports on a weekend, but like us adults, kids also, must eat that type of food only in moderation so that they can live much longer healthier lives!
And don't let thm eat that food that it offered at the theater restaurants either. Besides being much too unhealthy, it is also rediculously expensive!!
And you're right! Parents HAVE become far far too lazy to make a fresh home-cooked meal for the kids. I wish to God that I had a child!! I'd make sure that he or she would get a nice home-cooked healthy meal every day! I would.

I think the restaurants should be able to serve whatever they want. Parents are responsible for what their children eat and people are responsible for themselves. No one is forcing people to eat there, if they are doing it too often it's their own fault.
I would hate to have a restaurant and have someone come in and tell me what I can or can't serve. Many people look at those sort of meals as an occasional treat and making them change a menu that made them successful isn't fair.

I agree with you 100% Suzie. It's no different then people in their own homes deciding what they want to serve for meals. People have to be accountable for their own actions and not the restaurant industry. The fast food places don't force these people to eat there... these people make the decision to do so on their own.
