Texas de Brazil

Has anyone ever been? It's a small chain that has a location in Orlando. I think the other locations are dotted around the US. A friend of my husband's has invited us to go with him and his girlfriend next weekend. I've never been, but I've heard that it is very good and the reviews that I've read online are all very positive. It seems to be very pricey ($50 per person) and I was wondering if for the price the restaurant is really all that worth it. I'm trying to decide if we should go with the holidays being just around the corner.

I've never heard of it. Is it South American food or something? For $50 a plate it better not be just a bite size of food that's made to look pretty.

It's a Brazilian Steakhouse. Here is their website: Texas de Brazil

The $50 per person is what is giving me pause over here. I think that the concept is such that it is basically all you can eat. The waiters come around with skewers of meat for you to choose from and you get salads and sides from a salad bar. I only personally know one person who has been and I don't get a chance to talk with her often, which is why I was wondering if any of you had one nearby and had a chance to go.

Their menu certainly looks good, might be worth trying.

Sounds like it would be fun for an anniversary or some special occasion. A bit pricey for everyday though. For me anyway.
