Does your bakery tweet?
A new device allows bakers to tweet to their customers when fresh items are coming out of the oven and what they are.
Pretty cool. Baker Tweet

I have no idea. I haven't been in a bakery since last April.

We don't have many here. What we do have are mostly cake and donut type places. There is panera. But I don't go often.

I love Panera. Just went there the other day to pickup a multi-seeded baguette.
Was SO tempted to buy a pastry, but didn't. So, I just took a deep breath and enjoyed the aromas...calorie free!BerryBaby

The only thing here on Edisto that comes close to a bakery is our wee tiny dei/bakery section of our wee tiny Piggy-Wiggly down at the beach. I'm surprised someone hasn't put up a donut place because it would go over great with the "summer people." The population of full-time people on the island in just over 2,000 so we don't get many things like bakeries, drug stores, etc.

We have lots of drugstores and Starbucks...you don't have to drive very far before you run into one of them. And, nowadays, drugstores carry everything. I like it when I just need milk and something drugstorish and I just make one stop.

That's even better than the "hot donuts NOW" sign at Krispy Kreme.

We have five just in our small city! Two in a strip mall, one drive-thru, one connected with a grocery store and one at a shopping center. On top of that, there are about 6 other 'coffee' places in town. We are wired!

You can't go anywhere around here without a coffee cup in your hand...the shopping carts now have holders for the cups.BerryBaby

If your bakery tweets to tell you when the food is fresh, by extension you can figure out when the food is old.
Those who forget the pasta are condemned to reheat it.
