Boy!! What a crock!
Imangine that! That is just obsurd. Goes to show that you just can't trust your restaurant, or in this case, the wait staff.
Guess you have to do dry runs these days to see if the workers in an eatery are real & legit.
That's about as bad as those waitresses who were getting peoples' credit / debit card #'s and overchaging them to get money from their cards! Remember that one?I'm a supreme Fan of Bentley Green & Aaron McCargo Jr.!!:appl:

Sometimes there will be a shift change or someone filling in for a lunch break while you are there. It would be tough to know.

Sometimes I just forget what they look like.
Those who forget the pasta are condemned to reheat it.

Yeah me too. If I am focused on my husband or family and they aren't real talkative. They can kind of fade into the background.

Some restaurants where I've dined, the employees all wear a name tag with their names on them as well as the logo of the restaurant.
Now that I think of it, they should all wear these so that you know who is who. And anyone who doesn't have one, that person can be suspected of being a fake waiter or waitress.I'm a supreme Fan of Bentley Green & Aaron McCargo Jr.!!:appl:

I haven't seen name tags for years. And places that did have them were very low budget.

Kind of reminds me of the cancer-faking woman who recently bilked unsuspecting people who felt sorry for her out of over $10,000 with her supposedly sad story!

Sometimes they tell you their name, but I never remember. I never expected people to remember my name at Quiznos either.
