Bogus waiter tricks customers at 2 NJ restaurants
AP - Sat Apr 18, 1:55 PM ET Sent 511 times HOBOKEN, N.J. - Police say a man posing as a waiter collected $186 in cash from diners at two restaurants in New Jersey and walked out with the money in his pocket.
Imangine that! That is just obsurd. Goes to show that you just can't trust your restaurant, or in this case, the wait staff.
Guess you have to do dry runs these days to see if the workers in an eatery are real & legit.
That's about as bad as those waitresses who were getting peoples' credit / debit card #'s and overchaging them to get money from their cards! Remember that one?

Some restaurants where I've dined, the employees all wear a name tag with their names on them as well as the logo of the restaurant.
Now that I think of it, they should all wear these so that you know who is who. And anyone who doesn't have one, that person can be suspected of being a fake waiter or waitress.

Kind of reminds me of the cancer-faking woman who recently bilked unsuspecting people who felt sorry for her out of over $10,000 with her supposedly sad story!
