Not even free coffee would get my attention. I'm a pretty die-hard Starbucks and Dutch Bros. fan.

If I were going out for good coffee, I doubt that I would go somewhere that smelled like french fries. But with that said, it would be nice to get a good cup of coffee when getting breakfast while traveling, that is one of the only times that I go to Mcdonalds.

That's true. Starbucks has a lot of stores, but they aren't always located in cities I travel to. I'd probably give McDonald's a try if that was one of my options.

I am often forced to lower our standards as we travel, mostly because I have to travel thru a lot of areas were even fast food restaurants can have a distance between.

With traveling I have to be flexible and take what I can get, even if it isn't all that great.

I'd try McDonald's coffee for free.

Starbucks' coffee is way too strong for me!

Some people say that it is too strong or tastes burnt, but you have to know what to order.
The Vernonia and Breakfast Blend are very good. Ask for one shot, not two like they do in many of their drinks.

In future visits there, I'll have to ask that they weaken it a little with some plain hot water, as I've done in the past.

Make sure to ask what variety they are pouring that day. It makes a HUGE difference. Not all coffees are created equally.
