EDMONTON — In the war to win coffee consumers, McDonald’s Canada started a new tactic Monday — giving away cups of the beverage.
Under the two-week promotion, the fast-food giant is offering customers a small coffee with no charge and no purchase necessary whenever breakfast is served. MORE HERE
If I were going out for good coffee, I doubt that I would go somewhere that smelled like french fries. But with that said, it would be nice to get a good cup of coffee when getting breakfast while traveling, that is one of the only times that I go to Mcdonalds.

Before you criticize someone you should walk a mile in their shoes, that way when you criticize them you are a mile away and you have their shoes!
That's true. Starbucks has a lot of stores, but they aren't always located in cities I travel to. I'd probably give McDonald's a try if that was one of my options.
I am often forced to lower our standards as we travel, mostly because I have to travel thru a lot of areas were even fast food restaurants can have a distance between.
Some people say that it is too strong or tastes burnt, but you have to know what to order.
The Vernonia and Breakfast Blend are very good. Ask for one shot, not two like they do in many of their drinks.
