Beef and noodles. Most people think stroganoff, but here we will take a beef roast in chunks with buttered noodles in the broth from the meat. Very tasty.

In my experience, outside of Chicagoland you just can't get a good Italian Beef.

It use to be like here until they opened up Michael's. The man who owns it use to live in Chicago and brought the recipe with him.

Before this opened, I use to order it on-line from Vienna Beef/Lou Malnati's Pizzeria. In fact, I still order the Lou's pizzas. Not quite as good as being there, but pretty close.

There's a little shop in Kenosha run by a guy from Chicago, but his beef still not the same. And they'll put cheese on it! Sacrilege!

It's Wisconsin, home of the cheeseheads...everything has cheese on it. We use to live there back in the early 70's.

If they put cheese on it doesn't it become more like a Philly Cheesesteak?
