The Neeleys

Good lord! I'm very broadminded but I think they need to tone this Gina down a bit. Too many sexual innuendos and comments for a show that's on in the daytime on weekends. The woman needs a cold shower. And she's also got an annoying voice as well. I feel sorry for her husband. I just watched their show with the "Get Yo' Man Chicken". FCOL!

I finally did see that one. I think maybe Paula has been giving her tips since that's how they found her. She needs to find her own thing... Paula has that one covered.

Jeanne: I have been very busy on Saturdays, I have not had a chance to see their show. But, of course they had to be choosen in order to be on The Food Network. So if they like her and her husband approves of her ways, who are we to judge. Judge not, that you may not be judged. Skip their show on Saturday's and watch PBS, they have wonderful cooking shows on Saturdays.

I'm way ahead of ya. I watch all the Saturday cooking shows (too) on PBS; America's Test Kitchen, Ciao Italia, Lidia's Italy, Rick Bayless and a number of others whose titles escape me at the moment. I've been watching PBS' cooking shows for years back when Julia and Joyce Chen were on every week......"Saaaave the livers!"

Just saw these folks for the first time, she is way to annoying for my taste. He was not bad at all. I'll find other shows during this time slot.

I did like him better as well, I like the more quiet types. But I don't mind her too much. I think maybe she's just getting the hang of it and trying to find her own TV style.

The two daughters were on the show yesterday. They are both quiet, sweet girls.

I must be a little on the bad side....I like Gina!!! Really both in the kitchen make a good smooth show about family, much like Paula and her boys.However....sometimes I think the real Paula comes alive at her Party location. My husband and I have noticed how flirtatious and out spoken she is with the male guest(still love her)on that show.If Gina gets out of hand,I'm sure they will rein her in a little. My family is southern,we are making their BBQ spaghetti next week for a nascar party, try something diffirent.Thats really why I love this network, everybody brings their own thing.

I don't find her to be as bad as Paula. And Gina seems to stay focused on her husband. They seem like a fun couple, and I am sure he enjoys the fact that she is still flirting with him after years of marriage.

I recorded yesterday's show because I just bought chicken wings and wanted to try a different recipe. Turns out theirs looked like a pretty good one. That said, my thoughts are if I wanna watch double-entendres, smooching and pawing, I'll turn on Cinemax. Yes, it's great that after being married that long they're still on their honeymoon but does it belong on a cooking show? I don't need them to advertise it every 5 minutes. A little goes a long way. People tune in to see cooking not PDA. Eh, at least I do.

And I'm tiring of their 'spice fairy' routine, too. Must everything have a little song and dance that goes along with it? It's getting old. Like him, dislike her. He seems a little whipped. Along with the above as well as her irritating voice, I had to FF through most of the show.....but I do plan on printing out their recipe for chicken wings.
