They seem to be building up a good following. I might need to give them their own forum soon if they keep making the news.

I really enjoyed Pat's brother last week. The two of them would be a good match for a show.

I think a lot of the things with Pat and Gina is just banter for space filler to make it humorous. It appeals to some ... not to others. As I have said before I don't mind it too much because they are a happy married couple and I don't think we see that enough anymore. If she was like that with every man that walks in the kitchen and him with other women that would be as painful to watch as it is with Paula for me. Maybe they take it to a level that's a little uncomfortable at times for some people, but I personally think they are being genuine. The 2 seem like soul mates to me. Maybe everyone doesn't need to know that on a cooking show, but I am not that down on it.
Everyone be sure to watch the first episode of the next food network star, you get to see another side of them. Pat and Gina are at the tasting table and it's very professional ... you can tell they know their stuff. They wouldn't have been as successful in the restaurant business if they weren't. That's something that is hard to do even if you are educated in the culinary field. I don't know if either of them were, but they have been very successful in the business.

I watch their show because I find a lot of their recipes appealing. In general, I find sickly sweet, cheesiness to be off putting, so I'm not a fan of that aspect. I don't care for the spice fairy or give mama the sugar comments, but I can look past it. I always think of their daughters when I see stuff like that. If my parents acted like that in front of my friends, I would have been so mortified. I can't even imagine what I'd think if it was broadcast on national television.
They do seem like a nice couple and fun to be around.

I bet if you are invited to their house, you eat and eat and eat! They wouldn't let anyone leave hungry.
