We have some farmers markets here in Houston, but most of the stuff is imported from Mexico, and nothing against are southern friends, but their interpretation of organic is not what I would say is. We really do not have any farms down here in the area that I know grow produce or raise stuff for sale. I have seen one local growing peaches, and some farms further up north but those were so high priced it was not worth the drive nor the money.

prepared with passion and served with love !

I do not cook to live, but live to cook !
