chef Emeril and Commander's Palace - History and more

In New Orleans on January 12, 1975, Shreveport, Louisiana, native Terry Bradshaw lead the Steelers to beat the Vikings in Super Bowl IX at Tulane Stadium. It was the last game ever played in the old “Sugar Bowl”…the end of an era.
But as one era ended, so another began, because Adelaide, Dottie, Ella, Dick and John Brennan had recently taken over the operations of the nearly 100-year-old restaurant, Commander’s Palace. So, when Ella invited her friend, Terry Flettrich, to come for lunch, she confided that they were looking for a chef, to which Terry replied, “I know a great chef you should talk to. His name is Paul Prudhomme.”
And so the new era began…
