| Maybe it's a good thing.... ...that Emeril is no longer taping shows. I tuned in the other night to see how he made his chicken and dumplings, a dish that I'm quite fond of, and I always like to see how others made theirs. I don't normally watch any of Emeril's shows because the guy affects me like fingernails across a chalkboard. Has he just given up or does he always phone it in ? I can't say that he did much cooking. More like he'd start something, go off on tangents trying to be funny, then runs out of time quickly telling people what else goes into the dish and then BAM, it's station break time. After the break, he'd have the completed dish already done. I can't see that anyone could actually learn anything from watching an Emeril Live show. It seems more like an entertainment format. I think they should have the staff in the back come out and take a bow at the end of each show. On a postive note, I did like his recipe and am definitely going to try it. Luckily, I have cooking skills and can follow a recipe.
