Rep Power: 10 | When Emeril did the coin toss at the Rose Bowl, I was waiting for him to throw the coin down and yell, "BAM!" ...but he didn't. Would have been funny.

Rep Power: 2 | For a couple weeks leading up to the Rose Parade, Emeril had a commercial on HGTV about it. I thought he was going to be one of the parade announcers and frankly, I was a bit worried about that. Emeril can cook but he has some trouble reading from a prompter. I thought perhaps Emeril was going to be doing a new show for HGTV and this was his lead in. Boy, was I surprised that he wasn't really part of the parade show at all but instead was the Grand Marshall. |

Rep Power: 10 | He can be difficult to understand. I remember once he was making an apple charlotte, I kept thinking he was saying apple shallot.
Accents can be tricky for everyone to follow I guess. |

Rep Power: 10 | Did you ever watch Ozzy's reality show? They should have had subtitles!

Rep Power: 10 | I have seen bits of it flipping thru the channels. He should be the poster child for why you shouldn't do drugs. |

Rep Power: 10 | His son doesn't look too enthused. Looks like he would rather be sleeping. Bet they had to get real early for the parade.
Our daughter was in the Rose Parade here in Portland years ago. We had to be there are 6am even though the parade didn't start until 10am. It's the second largest Rose parade, next to the Tournament of Roses. Ours in June with huge floats all made out of flowers, seeds, etc. Really beautiful!
Oh, and how she got to be in the parade? I entered her through a radio contest and they selected her on the story I told. She got to ride on the professional soccer team's float, right in the middle. Great memories for her and mom!
