Television personality and chef Emeril Lagasse visited the St. Helena Farmers Market last week to film a segment for “Planet Green,” which encourages viewers to cook in a more eco-friendly way with top-quality ingredients.

The farmer's markets around here are SO expensive compared to just going to the farm, which is what I love to do. Guess they have to raise the prices to pay for setup, transportation, etc.

So fortunate to live just minutes from incredible farms and orchards.
