There seems to be a bit more of an edge starting out with this one, but as we got down to 5 or 6 they were a little less aggressive last time, maybe that will happen this time.
Wouldn't it make sense to have a 'secret' ballot to determine the winner of the first round instead of having the chefs trash one another out in the open? Yes, that would mean less drama but a fair accounting of the best and worst dishes. Don't they seem to influence one another in the current format plus it becomes more about bitchy maneuvering instead of good cooking? And when chef Mehta stole the grape leaves I was a little miffed. His stunt backfired as the discordant odor of the grape leaves ruined his own dish. If you're good you don't have to sabotage like that.

I kind of liked Chef Mehta in the first episode, but now I have a negative opinion of him because of that. I have not seem any of the Iron Chefs sabotage their competition during an episode of ICA.
