JAMIE Oliver's restaurant chain has been fined after a chef was horrifically burned with hot oil.
A colleague accidentally spilled the scorching liquid on the feet of Angie Hodgkinson-Day during a training day. She was in hospital for ten days and required skin grafts to her left foot.
The accident, at Jamie's Italian, happened after Ms Hodgkinson-Day asked a kitchen porter to pour away two containers of oil from a deep fryer.

Bad mistake, I don't know why they would fine his restaurants. Seems like firing the responsible person is enough.

If she was the chef, she ordered it, she should have known the rules even if she was not trained at the restaurant, I am sure she had been working other places besides there, but I am not sure if I am reading that right, said she had 13 years experience ? or is she not the chef that is really hard to follow, other than she had her foot burnt with hot oil. So I read it again, but still not sure of anything, was she the chef and ordered the porter to dispose of the oil, or was she just in the way ?????
prepared with passion and served with love !
