I have watched Mark Dacascos as the Chairman since ICA aired the first show on FN! Am a huge fan, and I was thrilled to see that he was appearing this season on DWTS. Was hoping that he could at least dance enough to make it through a couple of shows. With his brilliant martial arts background, he had to be able to move pretty well, right?
Why, yes, the Cha Cha Chairman can dance more than a little bit! LOL He and his partner, Lacey Schwimmer are absolutely fantastic. Wow! That Paso they performed last Monday was outstanding - only thing wrong was that didn't receive at least one 10! IMO, that was the best dance of the evening.
Lots of attention on Mark after last Monday - that was his breakout dance, for sure. Many on the DWTS forum are saying that he is the Dark Horse of the competition, and he is fast gaining on the frontrunners. Top Three this past week!
So Team Mark and Lacey are on their way to being bonafide contenders to win this thing. They have to have a fanbase to help, though - they are up against several contestants who have huge, huge voting blocks. So please watch the show Monday night and VOTE - by phone, text, online! Tuesday is a double elimination night, so they need votes more than ever!
I would like to see The Food Network get behind the Chairman. I know that he has done lots of publicity for Iron Chef through DWTS and I think his fans would like to see The Food Network promote their Chairman!! He needs the exposure and fan base to win DWTS. He has the talent, the charisma, and the determination! Step up to the plate Food Network for one of your own!

What a shame that Mark and Lacey's fiery, passionate, perfect Paso was passed over for a tepid tango for the encore dance. I thought Mark was on a much higher plain than the rest. Some of the others are pretty good dancers, but none of them have the arsenal of moves that our chairman has.
