Glad he's getting a second season, for I enjoyed watching his show.

I guess he does more apps because of the type of entertaining he does... more parties instead of set-down dinners.

I recall when we lived in San Francisco (ahem, 30+ years ago!) our entertaining style was similar to Brian's. Lots of appetizers and rarely, if ever, dinner.

I still have the cookbook from the '70's that I use to use and it's just cocktails and appetizers. Every once in a while, I'll make something out of the book and people are amazed, especially younger people. Retro food at its finest!
