One of my favorite memories of living in San Francisco were the hot chestnut street vendors during the Christmas holiday. I would buy a bag during lunch time and take them back to work. Just the smell of them reminds me of Christmas past.

It seems doing "street food" is the newest "hot" item in the food world. Seeing a lot of chefs opening up restaurants with the menu based on street food of various countries.

We have some of the most incredible street food and it has been written about in many food magazines.
There is a taco one that I really want to try. I pass it quite often but haven't stopped.
They are suppose to be amazing.BerryBaby

It does seem to be very popular. I know Anthony Bourdain likes to visit some of the vendors in other countries.
