The iPhone is awesome and I am such a big fan of iphone.facebook.com that I started wondering if a few of my other favorite sites were working on an iphone-specific site.

I tried typing iphone.whatever.com instead of whatever.com on a bunch of sites just to see what would happen, and I discovered iphone.foodnetwork.com is an actual site!

Awesome! I really like watching Food Network (I love to cook) so I was excited to uncover their iphone site.

It looks like it is mostly recipe-centric, and I can see how this site would be handy to get recipe ideas while grocery shopping.

There are some nice looking videos too. I'm not sure if they meant for this to get out (I couldn't find any mention of it on their normal site) so here are a few screenshots if they take it down.

I had a food network program on my cell phone from my service provider, but every time I tried to do a search for a recipe it said it couldn't find anything. Even if it was something very simple like bread or potatoes. Maybe they have improved it now, that would be nice at the grocery store. That's why I wanted it too, I wish it would have worked better.

Yeah, I have yet to have had any real satisfaction from any of the cell-phone/internet marriages.

I haven't had an iPhone in my hands yet, but I think I'm getting closer everytime I read stories about how its working its way into people's everyday life, and its not just a toy or the latest whizbang gizmo. :java:

Too pricey for me. I wanted to get my husband one of those that have internet access, treo I think it's called... because he could use it for his military stuff but it was going to be 35 dollars a month more for the internet service in addition to the phone bill. That's more than I pay for internet in my house.
