Food Network Promos

Does anyone know why the FN doesn't change the photos on their promos? The one they use of Rachael Ray is so old! She doesn't even look like that anymore.

If you are a first time viewer, and you saw the promo, then turned on the show you would wonder what happened to the old host of this show?
How much could it possibly be to use updated photos?

Ok, I know Oprah isn't on the FN, but the same thing for the Oprah promos...her hair hasn't looked like that in years..or her makeup.

I just find it annoying. It would be like me using my high school photo in my Avatar!

They don't really update much on their website very often either. That's one of the reasons I started this site, you can't find news about the chefs other than the basic bio they have had up since the first listed them. There is a lot of news about the various personalities out there. Personal appearances ... book signings and interviews. I was amazed they do not cover this on the Food Network site. But hey, it gives me the chance to do it I guess.

I have to say, I don't even notice promos anymore. I'll have to pay attention next time I have the TV on. I have DVR, so just about everything I watch has been pre-taped and I just skip over ads and commercials.

My husband left this morning for an overnight camping/canoing trip with some visiting family members so I have full control of the tv and the remote control until tomorrow night. He actually said to me this morning as he was saying goodbye, "Have fun with your Food Network and Lifetime marathon." He knows me too well
