Rep Power: 10 | Me too! That is something I just can't get right at home. I have been getting those Wanchi Ferry dinner kits and I do not normally like the boxed meal kits, but that is something I always need help with. |

There is such a wide variety out there I think many people would like and lot of it is healthy.
I've never tried those Wanchai Ferry dinners. Have you ever tried making summer rolls? Very good and easy to prepare. |

Rep Power: 10 | I make tiny egg rolls sometimes. My daughter likes them better with the wonton wrappers because there is more of the crispy outside instead of the filling when they are that small. Those usually turn out pretty good. My range top is made so that the grates over the burner can be turned over to support a round bottom wok, but the flat bottom ones are so popular now they are hard to find. One of the members here suggested I try restaurant supply and if I get a chance I will. Then I am going to get serious about this. My daughter loves Chinese and Japanese food, I want to learn to make it well for her. She is going to Japan next summer, so she is going to know what the real thing is like then and I need to study. |

Rep Power: 0 | Kids Cooking Idea Great! Hi, I'm new, just joined tonight. I LOVED the idea of a kids cooking show. My 9 and 11 year old watch the food network ALL THE TIME and I thought we were the only ones. Their friends are also closet foodies we discovered when the 5th grade had to do a job shadow and one of the boys wanted to be Duff! I know the food network knows they appeal to kids, why this show hasn't been developed is beyond me. Get a couple of appropriate, but not overly obnoxious, kids to rotate with one of the celebrity chefs or even a new face. Guaranteed, with the right producer, instant hit! DSit and her kids |

Rep Power: 10 | It is very popular with kids. My kids like to watch several of the shows too. I am really enjoying meeting all the fans out there. I knew when I started this site I couldn't be the only one with Food Network a popular thing in the house. |

Rep Power: 1 | ONce FLN makes the regular dial (here its in the 230s) they really need to put shows like Lisa Garza's (if she had one), Ina, etc, on there...and leave FN for the newer shows they are pushing that are more for home cooks. Think it would be a great way to divide it. |

Rep Power: 2 | I'd like to see a kids' cooking show where they learn the basic fundamentals of cooking.
There ARE some young child chefs out there who have gotten into and loove to cook! Or I'd love to see Aaron do a show that teaches young teens about cooking. He likes to mentor young teens and show them how to cook!!
He did so well working with the little girl who appeared with him on Ray-Ray's set that time!! |

Rep Power: 0 | I'd like to see Alton Brown do an episode of Good Eats based on;
HOT Chile Peppers, like Jalapenos, Serranos and Habaneros.
Maybe call it "Capsaicin Hooked". |
