Bobby Deen's Perfect Date

Bobby Deen gets a lot of people talking. My post on him back in September '06 currently has 135 comments. Everyone just seems a bit... confused by him.

Bobby Deen recently told Extra that his idea of a perfect date would be:

"We'd have dinner, dessert, a glass of wine and she'd be gone... it'd be perfect."

Bobby seemed really hesitant throughout the entire segment ("I love beautiful brunettes... I'm just kidding!") . What's the matter, Bobby D.?

After Katie Lee Joel mentioned she'd like to marry Bobby just to have Paula as her mother-in-law, Bobby quipped "See, that's what I'm afraid of!"

I can see how Bobby would be hesitant to get involved with anyone, having such a successful parent. I'm just not sure why he'd subject himself to these kinds of weird TV segments.

Maybe he should be on The Bachelor next year. If this interview was confusing imagine what that would be like week after week. The rose ceremony might take a while.

I can't stand it when people DATE a person because he/she is famous/a celebrity/rich as hell.

I am by NO means a celebrity, but being on the radio for this long, I've had a few disappointments. My most recent girlfriend stayed by my side for 2 and a half years, until I was fired by the Oldies station I worked for...

She was GONE a week later. So were many "friends" that I thought I knew...a concept I've never really understood. I worked for Stephen King for 6 years, and met more stars and celebrities than I EVER have, and realized they are JUST PEOPLE like me.

I can EASILY understand why Bobby'd be suspicious. That's the DOWN side of fame, I guess. Sad.

Food Network Fan will become famous soon enough

Then there are some celebrities who use the fame to use women. Like what they say David Copperfield was doing.

I think it's nice to see Bobby isn't doing that.

People are so funny when it comes to celebrities. I have met tons of 'celebrities' and when you tell people who you have met or how you know them, they act different.

I've had people tell other people, "Do you know who she's met?" Right in front of me. Like they are my spokesperson or something.
It felt strange.

I'll tell you what was interesting was when I did that local TV segment. I got recognized everywhere. Didn't even give it a thought that I would. People treated me real different and, honestly, I didn't like it. There was something phoney about it.
