I don't know about everyone else, but I just can't get use to George Duran doing "The Secret Life of..." I miss Jim O'Connor. What happened to him?

What do you think? George Duran or Jim O'Connor?

I like George but he seems really stiff when he interviews people in this show. Jim O'Connor was just a step shy of being too goofy for me. I've read that he is a really nice guy who doesn't have a prima donna bone in his body. I think Jim just edges out George.

I've been hearing Jim's voice on some of FN info spots. Wonder if they will give him another show. He was a little goofy, but I liked that about him. Just seemed real and likeable.

Jim, he was just right for the show, on the edge of being almost stupid but really intelligent and George just doesn't cut the mustard.

I loved Jim on that show and I miss him. George is cool and all (I liked him on HOTS) but I hate his voice overs...ugh. They are so mono-tone. I used to TIVO this show...but since they put George on it, I had to stop.

FN showed an old "Secret Life of..." this past weekend with Jim O'Connor. I like him soooo much better. Wish they would bring him back.

I'm with the majority here on this one. Jim O'Connor was head and shoulders above George Duran on S L O... I'm curious as to how the change over went down.

Nothing personal against Duran. O'Connor's personality complimented the show's theme, IMHO. Duran is just "flat." I emailed Food Network to voice my displeasure to the change after it happened and got a form letter reply.

With all of the newer fare, I've noticed it's no longer on a regular schedule either.
